Lisa Valerio, LCSW provides psychotherapy for adults and specializes in depression anxiety disorders as well as loss/grief and relationship challenges. Lisa is a licensed clinical social worker with 23 years of professional experience. She has served in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient and inpatient mental health, addiction treatment, Veterans Affairs, and private practice. She has provided clinical supervision to newly licensed professionals, both in social work and counseling, as well as field instruction for second year graduate MSW interns. Additionally, she has experience in community networking and advocacy working to eradicate Veteran homelessness. For 8 years, she also served as the Sgt. At Arms and Vice President of a local union, American Federation of Government Employees, helping to foster a better working environment for labor, management and ultimately for serving the Veterans. Prior to her social work career, she was a small business owner and manager of a moving company.
