We can all feel overwhelmed with life sometimes. Life is challenging and often unpredictable. I believe strongly that the power of a trusting relationship can help us work through what holds us back and keeps us from living the life we want. I primarily work with children, adolescents and young adults.
I utilize CBT, DBT, Strengths-based techniques and Mindfulness techniques. I also utilize creative outlets including art, music and play as a form of coping and healing. I am certified in child and adolescent trauma therapy and I have an extensive background in the school setting with experience in IEPs and 504 plans.
Starting therapy can be intimidating, but the first session often alleviates worry as we collaboratively discuss concerns and establish goals. I hope to always offer compassion and empathy to clients leaving them hopeful that positive change in their life is possible.
